NAVFAC Southeast

Welcome to NAVFAC Southeast

At Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Southeast, we are dedicated to delivering and maintaining high-quality, sustainable facilities. Our mission encompasses acquiring and managing capabilities for the Navy’s expeditionary combat forces, providing rapid engineering responses, and advancing energy security and environmental stewardship.

We oversee all aspects of facility project planning and design, including contracting, construction, leasing, environmental maintenance, and contingency support. Serving the Southeast Area of Responsibility (AOR), NAVFAC Southeast supports the Navy and Department of Defense (DoD) with a broad range of essential services.

Our team comprises 1,942 civilians, 97 military personnel, and 33 contractors, working across more than 22 field offices. Our reach extends across twelve states, from Charleston, S.C., to Kingsville, Texas, and south to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. In addition to managing and maintaining facilities on all Navy bases in the Southeast region, we handle real estate acquisition and disposal and oversee public-private venture (PPV) housing for military families.

NAVFAC Southeast Public Works Departments provide vital facilities support services to every Naval installation in our area. Our team faces new challenges daily, from planning cutting-edge hospitals to constructing state-of-the-art hangars, making significant contributions to the Navy’s mission and objectives.
