Senior Chief Asada is a native of Waianae, Hawaii where he graduated from Waianae High School in 1996. On January 12th, 1998, he enlisted in the United States Navy and attended Boot Camp at Recruit Training Center, Great Lakes, Illinois. Upon graduation, he attended Builder “A” School in Gulfport, Mississippi.
His operational tours include Crew member/leader Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) FORTY; DET Operations Chief Andros Bahamas and Platoon Commander NMCB FIVE, Material Liaison Chief, Detail AOIC, Project and Seabee Technical Trainer Chief, NMCB FOUR, Charlie Company Operations Chief, Detail AOIC for Guam/Sasebo NMCB THREE. His nine deployments include a Bosnia; Hawaii; Spain/Cape Verde, Africa; Andros, Bahamas; Guam (2); Djibouti, Africa; Okinawa and Sasebo, Japan.
His shore assignments include Lead Petty Officer, Marine Corps Base Hawaii; Builder Advanced/Construction Inspector Instructor, NCTC, Port Hueneme; Command Operations Chief, Construction Battalion Maintenance Unit 303, Officer in Charge, Construction Battalion Maintenance Unit 303 DET Pearl Harbor.
Senior Chief Asada commenced his assignment as NAVFAC Southeast’s Command Senior Enlisted Leader in March of 2024. Graduate of SEA Class 217 Brown “Bandits” and CMC/COB Course 25060.
