CBCM (SCW/EXW) Justin Hallahan

Seabee Master Chief Justin Hallahan, a native of Boston, Mass., graduated from Adams High School, South Bend, Ind., in 2002. He entered the U.S. Navy in August 2002, attending basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill.

Hallahan attended Equipment Operator “A” School at Naval Construction Training Center, Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo. He reported to his first command, Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) Seven in Gulfport, Miss. While there, he deployed to Iraq, San Diego, Calif.; Cuba, Guam, and San Clemente Island, Calif.

His fleet assignments include instructor duty at the Naval Construction Training Center, Gulfport, where he taught the Advanced Equipment Operator Course and qualified as a Master Training Specialist and Navy Military Training Instructor. In June 2011, he reported to NMCB Eleven in Gulfport, Miss., where he served as a Convoy Security Element Assistant Convoy Commander, Afghanistan Team (Witch-doctor); Embark Assistant Officer in Charge (AOIC), Detachment Texas AOIC; Air Detachment Operations Chief, Detachment Central African Republic Officer in Charge and AOIC, Detachment Niger. He was advanced to Chief Petty Officer in 2012. In December 2015, he reported to Naval Construction Group Two in Gulfport, where he served as the Contingency Construction Crew Training Division Head and N433 Deployed Table of Allowance Leading Chief Petty Officer. He was selected to advance to Senior Chief Petty Officer in 2016. In October 2018, he reported to NMCB 133 in Gulfport, where he initially served as Alfa Company’s Leading Chief (Alfa Five) and subsequently as the Senior Enlisted Leader for the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command Detachment. He was advanced to Master Chief Petty Officer in May 2019. In 2022, he assumed the role of Leading Chief Petty Officer for the Logistics Department (N4C).

In June 2024, he reported aboard Navy Facilities Engineering Systems Command Europe, Africa, Central in Naples, Italy, and is currently assigned as the Command Senior Enlisted Leader.

Master Chief Hallahan is a 2017 Navy Senior Enlisted Academy graduate and is designated Seabee Combat Warfare Specialist and Expeditionary Warfare Specialist. His personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (six awards), Air Force Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (three awards), combat action ribbon, and various unit and service campaign awards.
