Naval Air Station Jacksonville is located southwest of the City of Jacksonville, on the west side of the St. Johns River.

From I-95 North (from Daytona Beach): Take I-295 North over the Buckman Bridge. Exit at U.S. 17. Take U.S. 17 North about 2.5 miles to NAS Jacksonville main gate.

From I-95 South (from Brunswick, Georgia): Take I-10 West just after downtown Jacksonville. Stay in left lane and exit at U.S. 17 South. Take U.S. 17 South about 6.5 miles to NAS Jacksonville main gate.

From I-10 East (from Tallahassee): Take I-295 South. Exit at U.S. 17. Take U.S. 17 North about 2.5 miles to NAS Jacksonville main gate.

From Jacksonville International Airport (JIA):  NAS Jacksonville is about 35 miles from JIA. Take I-95 South to I-295 South. Exit at U.S. 17. Take U.S. 17 North to NAS Jacksonville’s main gate (Yorktown Gate), about 2.5 miles on the right.

NAS Jacksonville is approximately two miles North, on the right. Enter through the Yorktown Gate (main gate). Vehicle Passes must be obtained at the Pass Office to gain access to the base. The Vehicle Pass office will be on the right when entering the main gate. You will need your driver's license, vehicle registration and insurance at the Pass Office. Note: Due to heightened security, rental vehicles may be searched.
 

Once Vehicle Pass is obtained, proceed through security. Follow Yorktown to Ajax (approximately 1 mile), turn right. Go to stop sign, turn left and turn left at the first street which is Ballard. The NAVFAC Southeast headquarters building (Bldg. 903) parking lot will be on your right.  There is visitor parking in front of the building.
