NORFOLK, VA – Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Mid-Atlantic (NAVFAC MIDLANT) awarded Northern New England Employment Services, Gorham, Maine, a $7,911,803 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for custodial and recycling services at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Kittery, Maine.
Work will be performed at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery, Maine, and is anticipated to be completed by March 2026.
Fiscal year (FY) 2025 operation and maintenance (Navy) funds in the amount of $1,527,779 will be obligated at the time of award via task order and will expire at the end of the current FY. Future task orders will be primarily funded by operation and maintenance (Navy) funds.
This contract was awarded under the AbilityOne Program, a federal initiative aimed at employing people with disabilities.
